"Challenges"

One of websters definition of challenge is: The quality of requiring full use of one's abilities, energy, or resources. These past couple of weeks, I have been going through challenges in all senses of the definition. I was at a point where I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I felt that I was carring the weight of the world on my shoulders. I felt that all things bad was happening at one time. I felt that someone had a hex on my life. Lastly, I felt like I was alone with no one to turn to.

Once I gathered all those feelings in one box, I came to one conclusion; the devil stays busy. Just when you think that nothing could go wrong and you get relaxed and start forgetting that prayer should be in all aspects of your life no matter where you are or what you doing, problems begin. My mother always tell me that God as the power to show you who is God, its up to us to recognize him. Shame on me, I started putting God on the back burner. But through "experience" it will not happen again.

Prayer changes thing. Prayer gives you control over your life and prayer brings you ideas and ways to make things all better. After I released a few tears and had a talk with God things got better.

Through prayer, love and support from my family and friends I am all better now.

Lesson: Things can always get worse and someone always has it worse then you. Stay in control of your life and you can remain POWERFUL! Remember just that God is never too busy for you, the question is "Are you to busy for HIM?"

"Fear"

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Today as I was going about my daily activites. This poem came into my head. And today this poem best describes how I feel. We walk around as people not being our usual conceited, over-confident selves to spare other peoples feelings. Or because we are afraid of what they may think or say about us when we walk away. I look at it like this, I can be fabulous, talented and beautiful and be proud of it. Its not my fault that growing up you didnt have that extra boost of confidence from family or friends.

I feel that we all should think highly of ourselves. We should all walk around with our heads held high. As long as you arent putting people down in the process, you are ok.

"Experiences" of a Lifetime

In life peole go through unexplainable situations where they ask themselves....How did I get here? What did I do wrong? And the most famous; Why Me? The answers to these questions are very simple. "Experiences"! I call them "experiences" for one reason and one reason only. What I have learned through my lifetime of "why me's" is that things that one goes through are suppose to be lessons learned. You go through them so that when you do recieve the reward u know how to appreciate it because of the journey you've been on to get there.

Somewhere in my growth and development I found myself being this very optimitsic peson. This person that finds good in everything. I found myself finding reason for every "experience" that I have been through: good and bad. Please don't misunderstand me, I love that in me. I have found that, being this way, I have less stress and alot more happiness. I fully understand now that EVERYTHING happens for a reason, even the things that are unexplainable and confussing. I use to believe that those times when I was lost and hurt I was alone. But somewhere I heard that those moments when u feel the most alone, That is when God is closest to you. In some situations, it is then that he carries you.

So the Lesson to the "Why ME's?" is this. Take every experience as just that an "experience". Know and understand without these such "experiences" we wouldn't know what "lessons" were. We wouldnt know what "happiness" feels like. And for some of us we wouldn't know what "love" is.
